Jan Lo (aka DJ Lomang) has quietly emerged as an international DJ phenomenon.
With New York City as his home base for 8 years, Lomang opened up Morrisey Park (nominated Best New Bar/Lounge in New York) in the East Village/Lower Eastside. Armed with a social science graduate degree, he developed a unique ability to read the dancefloor, however eclectic.
Known for rocking seamless sets spanning the spectrum from funk & soul to rock n' roll to Golden Era hip hop to New Wave and back to electro and house, Lomang embodies the art and science of moving the crowd.
Not surprisingly, Lomang has shared the decks with a wide range of talent running the gamut from Bjork producer, Howie B, to B-more heavyweight, Tittsworth, to DJ Babu (Dilated Peoples) and NYC hip hop legends, Large Professor (producer of Nas' Illmatic) and Rob Swift (of X-ecutioner's fame).
Lomang is currently based in Beijing, China. Teaming up with China's 3 x DMC Champion, DJ Wordy, Lomang has helped to help bridge the East and West to create HOTPOT, Beijing's first world-class party for music lovers with world-class booty.
